So with this post I inaugurate my new site. Is it much? Not really. I’ve been working on this site off and on for what seems like 6 months. After all that time, is it done? No. I realized that I am just floundering around and will never be completely happy with it. I also realized that I always intended for this site to be my digital playground and what good would it be if it was all neat and complete? That’s why II am just going to launch with all the loose ends brazenly hanging out all over the place.

The loose ends pretty much cover every part of the site. I need to work on better content, that will slowly come with time. The design is what I’ve struggled the most with. I've been tweaking this design over and over and I just realized today that it is really similar to the amazing and talented Dan Cederholm from SimpleBits recent redesign. The difference however is that his is executed a million times better. I also have a lot of work to do on the backend drupal theme. The site is built on Drupal 6 and the theme is a sporadic kludge of the Zen theme and the baseline css framework.

Keep an eye out as I will be writing a more complete post about my adventures with drupal along with a number of other things that have been rattling around for a while.
